Jon is a graduate of Bowling Green State University where he studied computer art, photography and film. While in college, Jon interned at the Smithsonian American Art Museum in Washington, D.C., where he worked on the award-winning website, Campfire Stories with George Catlin. Jon also served as a web specialist with the Center for Teaching, Learning and Technology in Bowling Green, Ohio, where he taught faculty how to leverage interactive technology to improve the classroom experience.
In 2004 Jon began his professional career with Definition 6 in Greensboro, North Carolina, as an interactive designer. His clients included Wrangler Jeans, Georgia Pacific, The Fresh Market, Russell Athletic and Dixie Cups. Jon eventually became the company’s lead video and sound editor.
Jon joined TrendyMinds in 2005, where he assumed a role as lead interactive designer. Throughout his career at TrendyMinds, he has managed complex web builds for high-profile sites such as Lilly.com and IUhealth.org, to name a few. Today, Jon is Sr. VP, Digital Strategy at TrendyMinds, overseeing all digital and web projects across the agency.
In his personal time, Jon spends time with his wife and son. He also volunteers his creative talent for his neighborhood, Fall Creek Place.
