Out of all the other content on the web, you’ve made your way to ours. That’s pretty neat, don’t you think?
Ironically enough, driving traffic to content through the strategizing, development, execution, tracking and reporting of content marketing campaigns is precisely what you’ll be doing . . . among other things, of course.
As our new Marketing Services Specialist, you’ll work as part of our Marketing Services Team to help our clients create relevant, revenue-generating content marketing campaigns—all while supporting TrendyMinds' internal marketing efforts, too. You’ll assist with day-to-day, tactical implementation of marketing strategies. You’ll report directly to the Digital Marketing Specialist and work with team members across our other service lines, including Advertising, Brand, Content Marketing, Email Marketing and PR & Social Media.
One big note: You must be able to work at our Indianapolis office. This is not a remote or virtual position.
Strategize first. Support implementation of strategic content and digital marketing recommendations from the Digital Marketing Specialist and Marketing Services leadership.
Get organized. Create and manage editorial calendars including, but not limited to, blog, social media and paid advertising content development.
Write good. If you didn’t just cringe at that, this position probably ain’t for you. You’ll need strong professional writing, editing and proofing abilities for multiple types of content, including blogs, infographics, videos, white papers, case studies and more.
Brew ideas. We prefer strong creative and communications skills, with an emphasis in writing, copy and design. Get ready to brainstorm with the best of them.
Focus on the audience. It’s all about the people! Develop highly effective, targeted content for each unique audience leading to optimized client and prospect behaviors.
Master the social universe. Manage social media business pages, grow social audiences and implement strategic plans for social media success.
Acquire customers. Understand best practices for using content as a customer acquisition tool.
Hit goals. Manage and contribute to the development of campaign assets needed to meet campaign goals.
Dig into the numbers. Lead the tracking and reporting of campaign performance, aiding in strategic recommendations for continued marketing efforts.
Eat, drink and sleep . . . marketing news and tech. This means that you’ll stay current with the latest trends and tools in digital and content marketing, including platforms related to marketing automation (specifically Hubspot), content management, social media advertising, email service providers, analytics (specifically Google Analytics) and Adobe suites.
Hone your craft. Develop and track personal goals that are tied to overall company objectives—and keep your personal growth in mind.
Manage your day. Oversee applicable day-to-day responsibilities, which may include:
Daily management of all key projects with our project management and time tracking tools
Daily recording of all time spent on projects
Weekly tracking of key project status and overall project health as related to milestones, touch points and budgets
Participating in weekly production meetings
Preferred 2 years related experience in a social media, content marketing or digital marketing role
Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, journalism, communications or related field
