Encouraging innovation in medicine to change lives
In 2011, Eli Lilly & Company decided their digital presence needed a makeover, so we stepped in to guide them through a major website overhaul of Lilly.com. Since then, we've worked on various corporate, video and social media projects along with niche—not to imply small—websites, including Lilly Diabetes. Our partnership solidified as we learned more about the oftentimes complex pharmaceutical industry, especially as our related industry work for PhRMA and Indiana University Health bolstered our drive to dig in more.
A local Indianapolis staple with a 140-year history that speaks for itself, Lilly boasts approximately 41,000 employees worldwide with products marketed in 120 countries—and we're thrilled to be an integral part of that growth through digital marketing. While supporting the Lilly mission with web and video efforts, we also dive into nitty-gritty social projects, like setting up a team to monitor Lilly's social channels and mentions of #WeAreLilly during the annual 24-hour Global Day of Service initiative during which 24,000 Lilly employees volunteer.
We spearheaded a comprehensive web redesign and development effort for Lilly.com, the company's premier site housing 200+ pages. With a challenge to target and appeal to various groups of stakeholders—including investors, employees and the media—we transformed Lilly.com from a plain, static site into a fully responsive digital experience with easily accessible information.
We built this mobile-friendly, responsive website with a clean, easy-to-use content management system, allowing for a high level of content customization. As a push to provide updated information about Lilly Diabetes and its products, this website serves as a hub striving to make life easier for people with diabetes and showcasing Lilly's dedication to exploring diabetes treatments.
Although local at heart, Lilly is dedicated to creating connections with communities across the world. We traveled to Brazil to produce this documentary film showing Lilly's aspiration to make a positive impact on global health.
For LEAP, or Lilly Expanding Access for People, we animated a voiceover script to explain how Lilly constantly makes strides to think and operate in ways that benefit society. In this case, LEAP focuses on establishing strategic partnerships to enhance healthcare access to the world's growing middle class.
