A while back, we shared our Occupant Capacity Calculator. It uses a business’s square footage to calculate how many people can be in their space while following social distancing and safety guidelines from FEMA. Pretty handy. Since it seems COVID is going to be sticking around for some time, we’re following it up with a second calculator. This one helps businesses figure out the right amount of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) they should have on hand to keep their employees and customers safe — things like masks, hand sanitizer, and cleaning products. CHECK OUT THE PPE SUPPLY CALCULATOR Why did we build the PPE Supply Calculator? We wanted to find a way to help others in our community — and beyond — weather this ongoing crisis. What better way to do that than to put our web design and development expertise to good use? We hope that as businesses get back to business, they can use the PPE calculator to make informed decisions that keep themselves and their customers safe. Here are some of the sources we used to build the calculator: SkinKraft American Council on Science and Health Norwex Movement Ingham County (Michigan) Health Commissioner Medical Research Council (UK) DEB (SCJohnson Company) Always follow local and national guidelines when planning safety protocols for your employees and customers.
