We organized a path toward a long-term, easy-to-maintain solution that combined marketing and event functionality into a single, unified experience.

A mobile-first web app, powered by an existing CMS

Built on Rev’s existing Craft CMS, this mobile-first web app created a centralized, flexible content system that powered both the marketing site and the live event experience eliminating duplicate entry, streamlining workflows, and reducing the cost and complexity of maintaining native apps. By leveraging Craft’s content modeling, structured data flowed seamlessly to a fast, QR-accessed web app designed for event attendees, offering real-time vendor and event listings, SMS updates, and personalized favoriting without requiring downloads or accounts.

When the big night arrived, our infrastructure didn’t just hold — it excelled. We implemented full-page static caching, offloaded search to the client side, and used localStorage for favoriting, eliminating the need for user accounts. The result: fast, frictionless access for users and minimal load on the server.
