Challenge

Who doesn’t love sporting new threads? When Pacers Sports & Entertainment — the corporate identity behind the Indiana Pacers and Indiana Fever (among others) — came to us for help revealing the Pacers’ new City Edition Jersey, we were on board right away.

A limited-edition jersey only used for a select number of games during the 2019–20 NBA season, the City Edition Jerseys were inspired by the spirit of Indianapolis and its deep ties with racing and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. To properly reveal this jersey to the public, the video needed to incorporate those themes as well.

Solution

Our film crew spent an entire day filming at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and was given full reign to film around the track. We captured a majority of the footage on an Alexa, but we also used a standard drone and Sony F55 for supporting shots.

Results

We provided ideation, concept creation, location scouting, on-set direction, cinematography, sound design, editing, visual effects, and finishing.
