Simplifying the digital healthcare experience
For more than 15 years—including their transition from Clarian Health to Indiana University Health—we've delighted in working as a true extension of various IU Health teams to enhance and simplify patient experiences, especially via digital channels. We relish the singular challenges in healthcare, but on top of that, the opportunities to grow our relationships with IU Health team members drive us to adapt more, to achieve more.
And to ask for more. While we're dedicated to streamlining healthcare experiences for patients, a key part of success also involves comprehensive interaction with other key stakeholders, such as patients' families, nurses, doctors and healthcare administrators. Through extensive and strategic digital innovation, we're pushing IU Health to be more than just the largest healthcare network in Indiana; we're empowering them to make people's lives better.
As their digital partner, we provide strategic direction and vital day-to-day updates for IUHealth.org and associated web properties. We're diligent about emphasizing patient needs and providing quick access to information for all end users, such as portal and bill pay.
We also balance patient needs with needs of internal stakeholders, building strategic and creative internal training initiatives for 30,000+ team members to promote assurance and a high level of patient- and family-centered care. Bringing to light local issues, we also partner with IU Health to identify and promote community health needs to increase the wellness of local Indiana communities through special programs, such as Change The Play.
Digital access and ease of use in healthcare is the tip of the iceberg; we take pride in bettering the lives of IU Health stakeholders and the people they reach every day.
When Andrew Luck partnered with Riley at IU Health to encourage kids to develop healthy lifestyle habits, we knew we wanted to tackle the initiative with them. Through web development and periodic email sends connected to Salesforce Marketing Cloud, kids embarked on an eight-week journey focusing on various ways to improve and maintain health, such as cardio and beneficial sleeping habits.
For new and longtime team IU Health team members, it's easy to lose sight of why their roles truly matter, but when it comes to improving patient health—and even saving lives—each job is key. Through an internal endeavor called STOM (Strength Training Online Module), team members immersed themselves in an interactive, online gaming experience that revealed their vital roles in patient success, whether serving in an inpatient, outpatient or non-clinical capacity at an IU Health location. And, if the gamification experience wasn't appealing enough, the winning team member also won a trip to Disney World.
Starting with refreshing a few email template designs, we took baby steps at first, but after our understanding of IU Health's vision for email grew, we began sharing insights about user intent and behavior, proposing more complete design overhauls and building modular templates customized to each send.
Focusing on both organic and paid content strategy and execution, our team performs ongoing competitive analyses, studies top-performing content across the healthcare industry and creates blog and social content according to our findings.
